Swimming
and Water Polo
In
water polo you need to have extreme lower body strength
and endurance because you need to keep your body up
and above the water for a long period of time. You’re
also swimming back and forth, so you also need upper
body endurance and strength. So what we do is have
you put on the Xvest™ while you’re in the water and have you
do eggbeater drills for time. We can take you out
of the water and have you do road-conditioning drills.
We’re able to put resistance on your upper body in
the water and have you do swimming drills for time
and distance. We’re able to condition your body to
hold the weights and increase your resistance once
you take it off and go back in the water, you’ll notice
that you have found new strength, speed and have more
endurance.
