What
is unique about the Xvest™
is that the President of the company, George Morrison,
had developed the Xvest™ for his lateral training for snow skiing.
So he bought a lateral training device and took it
with his body weight to the maximum resistance level
and found that it wasn’t enough for his level of skiing
that he like to ski, so he developed the Xvest™.
The
Xvest™
can be incorporated into your conditioning and your
lateral training for downhill skiing. You can use
it as it relates to zigzag drills, single leg hopping
drills for distance and time, zigzag hopping single
leg drills, bounding drills to help develop your gluts,
hamstrings and quads.
If
your skiing timed events like Downhill, Slaloms, Super
Gs and similar, those events are based upon your ability
to react at very high speeds. And that takes a lot
of body control, balance and strength. When you incorporate
the Xvest™
into your exercises what you will find is your reaction
time, your core body strength and your ability to
control body balance will be greatly improved and
enhanced therefore shaving time of your races/events
and hopefully will help you win the Gold.
Side Note:
In the 2002 Salt Lake Winter Olympics, many of the
Downhill ski teams throughout the world utilized the
Xvest™
in their pre-winter Olympic programs to help improve
their conditioning and overall body and strength.
